Invitation for 2nd Biennial Conference DDNPTM-2010 :

Following upon the success of the 1st International Conference  DDNPTM-2008 (Please navigate through archives and photo gallery),the Department of Natural Products at NIPER, has decided to continue the same platform. I am pleased to announce and invite all stakeholders from academia, industry, clinical research organizations, R&D institutions and regulatory agencies all around the globe to this biennial event.

This meeting will offer real opportunities to discuss fresh issues, advancement in discovery tools to tackle complex problems and find workable, cost effective solutions to set new trends in research interacted with natural products and traditional medicines to meet the ever increasing global health care needs.

The second DDNPTM conference will be held from 20 November to 24 November, 2010 at National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) SAS Nagar, Mohali, Punjab-160062. Registration shall open w.e.f. 1st January, 2010.

Looking forward to meet you in November, 2010 at Tricity - The City Beautiful (Chandigarh with Panchkula and Mohali) of modern and vibrant India.

Aim of DDNPTM-2010 :

Natural Products have been long regarded as mainstay of Drug-Discovey programms. India, with its rich biodiversity and millennia old traditional medicinal system of Ayurveda, offers a unique opportunity for drug discovery from natural sources. Research inputs to provide scientific basis of Ayurveda are need of the hour. The outlook may cater the pharma industry to enhance the Drug-Discovery programms in India. The conference will provide a platform for networking international and national researchers and pharma industry to reap benifits from Mother Nature's Combi-lab. The deliberation may offer solutions to the pressing challenges in the field and address the unmet need of health care systems.
